Offensively
- Tom Brady missed Jackson all day long. At one point he threw the ball a couple of feet over the head of C.J Jones and on a QUICK PASS OF ALL THINGS so he screamed out; "F---" He then ran a lap.
- Kevin O'Connell was surprisingly accurate on a lot of throws, but missed terribly on a dig route in which Moss didn't make an effort to catch the ball.
- LaMont Jordan handled a linebacker, can't remember who, very well in the blocking drills and looks a lot quicker then I thought. He's also a lot bigger then I anticipated.
- BenJarvus Green-Ellis had a good blocking day, contrary to last time I went, and looked pretty elusive in the inside run portion of practice.
- Randy Moss makes it look so easy. He probably has the softest hands of anyone I have ever seen. However, he takes "jogging" to another extreme. His jog is our walk.
- Chad Jackson continues to impress, very good hands and nice sharp route running. He actually directed Chris Dunlap and C.J Jones on a pass play, which is a sign on maturity. Brady threw a few passes to Jackson that were just horrid, so don't get the misconception it was his fault. Jackson also looked directly towards me as I yelled; "Breakout year baby" and he nodded.
- Jabar Gaffney remains to work in the slot and looks pretty impressive doing what Welker does best. Again, I think this is a sign that Welker will be put on the P.U.P list.
- Sam Aiken made some nice catches but shouldn't find himself cracking the rotation just yet.
- Matt Slater displayed some nice routes and good hands, while the same could be said for C.J Jones.
- Ryan Wendell did a poor job on an incomplete pass by Matt Gutirrez which led to both of them running a lap in practice.
Defense
- Tank Williams started at ILB and looked great on the one on one blocking. He is very quick for his size.
- Jerod Mayo looked slow and fat today. I just watched him two days ago and it looks like he gained five pounds. But, he laid out the punter, Chris Hansen on kickoff.
- Eric Alexander gave Ellis a wake up call early on, with a big hit.
- Shawn Crable matched up on the slot receiver multiple times, like Adalius Thomas does at some points.
- Fernando Bryant broke up a deep ball intended for C.J Jones and looks quicker then I thought.
- Jonathan Wilhite did a respectful job as the nickel back.
- Rodney Harrison is slow. Both he and Bruschi have lost more than a couple of steps.
