Round 1: Pick 30: J.R Giddens [SG; New Mexico]



A little bit of a reach here, but, the Celtics have that luxury. With Tony Allen becoming a free agent and looking ever so expendable, drafting a scoring SG will become a must come the NBA draft. After getting into some trouble at Kansas, Giddens straightened out at New Mexico and is an all around solid player that this team needs. Being a four year collegian player is rare and Giddens as molded his game around his terrific defensive skills. Many will argue that the Celtics don't have anyone "athletic" off the bench and Giddens is certainly that.

That mock was made on June 1st on footballs future. So, yes I know what I'm talking about.
