Update On Papi's Wrist:  Sox DH David Ortiz took 25 dry swings at Fenway today and said he expects that he is 2-3 weeks away from returning to the lineup.

David Ortiz is expected to take the trip to Houston when the Red Sox leave for their weekend series with the Astros following Wednesday's home game against the D-backs.

Ortiz, who hasn't played since suffering a partially torn sheath tendon in his left wrist against Baltimore on May 31, might get a chance to get his hands on a bat as early as Wednesday.

"There is hope [Wednesday] he might take some dry swings off the tee, just so the doctors can witness it before he gets away from them," manager Terry Francona said. "We'll kind of see how it goes."
