Breaking Score: 103 (Atlanta) - 100 (Boston) Hawks Force a Game 7!
Some of us expected a sweep of the Hawks. Some of us thought the Celtics would use this series as a nice little tune up for the next round. We certainly didn't expect the Hawks who were a mere 37-45 for the seson to be talking or even thinking the word upset at any point in this playoff series. I guess after two great games at home in Atlanta their confidence has them holding their heads up a little higher and sticking out their chests a bit more so. What they should remember is that in their last three trips to Boston, they were blownout by double digits each time. This has been a rough series which is not really a bad thing. The Celtics came home in game five , regrouped and went played the kind of ball that got them this far in the first place (Unselfish team play and tenaious defense). Boston also limited Joe Johnson, who got off only 11 shots after a 35-point effort in Game 4, and took control of the boards against the Hawks (39-28). Tip Off for Game Six is at 8:00 PM the game will be telivised by Comcast Sports and WEEI will have the call on the radio.
