Marc J. Spears (Boston Globe) Reports:

Celtics forward Paul Pierce has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for making what the league deemed a "menacing gesture" in Game 3 in Atlanta, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the Celtics’ 102-93 loss to the Hawks on April 26.  First we have 'Little' Al running his mouth beyond belief, followed up by Paul Pierce's harmless but poignant  "menacing gesture" response.
