The Boston Celtics are doing what they need to do to get that top seed and that is win. Their latest victim was the Chicago Bulls whom they beat 106 - 92 last night in Chicago. This isn't Jordan's Bulls anymore (Thank God) and the Celtics swept the series and earned their league leading 59th win. Ray Allen led the team with 22 points while Kevin Garnett added 20 points and 7 rebounds. In the final 12 minutes the Celtics played like men against boys outscoring "chi - town" 27 - 19 in the 4th quarter. Paul Pierce scored 17 points and Allen was 5 for 7 on his three point shots. The big three are playing solid basketball so what more can we ask of them but to keep it hot for the playoffs. I also think the bench players have proved themselves worthy of backing this starting five when the time calls for it. The Indiana Pacers will come to Boston tonight with tip off slated for 7:30 pm. How could I forget? How about we back away from Glenn Rivers for at least the remainder of the regular season...
