Leading up to the draft I will breakdown the AFC and how they look heading into the draft. I'll start in the AFC and go from worst to first.

Sample ImageMiami Dolphins; 2007 (1-15)

Key Additions
- Josh McCown [QB; Oakland Raiders]
- Ernest Wilford [WR; Jacksonville Jaguars]
- Justin Smiley [OG; San Francisco 49ers]
- Jason Ferguson [DT; Dallas Cowboys]
- Randy Starks [DT; Tennessee Titans]

Key Losses
- Marty Booker [WR; Chicago Bears]
- Jesse Chatman [RB; New York Jets]
- Trent Green [QB; St. Louis Rams]

Draft Picks (Day 1; which includes 1st and 2nd rounds)
Round 1; Pick 1
Round 2; Pick 32
Round 2; Pick 57

Free Agent overview
The Miami Dolphins certainly have seemed to improve thus far in the off-season and you can go no further then thanking Bill Parcells. While they're still in search for a QB, the Dolphins acquired a big WR in Wilford who is a terrific compliment for Ted Ginn Jr. Parcells also sired up the defensive line picking up Ferguson from his old team Dallas in exchange for swapping 5th round picks with the Cowboys. They also signed a very underrated Randy Starks who did a terrific job for Tennessee over the last two seasons. Usually when you sign a lot of newer player you lose a lot, that wasn't the case for the Dolphins who's only real player of note that they released was Booker.

Needs
- QB
- OT
- OLB

Draft preview
Holding the #1 pick, the Dolphins can do an array of different things. Many would think that they would draft Boston College QB Matt Ryan but there is talk that the Dolphins are really high on Virginia's Chris Long whom they will look to convert to OLB. Whoever they do decide to draft with their first pick they are sure to get an instant game changer. Thanks to the trade with the Chargers in which San Diego acquired Chris Chambers, the Dolphins will have two 2nd round picks. If the Dolphins don't go with Ryan in the first round don't be surprised to see Michigan's Chad Henne to garner interest from the Dolphins.

Schedule for 2008 (times and dates unknown)
- New England Patriots (2)
- New York Jets (2)
- Buffalo Bills (2)
- San Diego Chargers
- Denver Broncos
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Oakland Raiders
- Seattle Seahawks
- Arizona Cardinals
- San Francisco 49ers
- St. Louis Rams
- Baltimore Ravens
- Houston Texans

Projected wins
2-4
