The Boston Celtics will be in San Antonio tonight to take on a Spurs team that has lost 5 of their last 6 games. They will look to their  league leading defense to stop the skid and slow down the Celtics who may be without Ray Allen again.

The Celtics have a 4 1/2  game lead in their conference and Kevin Garnett was quoted as saying " These will be playoff type games " referring to this west coast road trip.

Tip off is at 8:30 and the game can be seen on Comcast Sports and broadcast on WEEI Radio.

"The Spurs are the measuring stick of the league " is what Paul Pierce had to say about the defending champion Spurs.
