Alright DJ, cue the Randy Newman and let your mind drift a little as you imagine no more "Neck-Stretch" while enjoying your Boston Celtics this season.  Score one for the fans or just fans that are "Short People"!  The league is attempting to be more fan friendly and this is a great start.  Read the article I am referring to at InsideHoops .

newcoachmchaleThe Timberwolves fired head coach Randy Wittman this morning and replaced him with Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin McHale, but the big news out of Target Center is that McHale will relinquish his front-office duties to concentrate on coaching.

Owner Glen Taylor and McHale announced the changes at a press conference today.

It is not yet known if assistant general manager Fred Hoiberg, who was being groomed as McHale's successor, will take over the team's basketball operations on a permanent basis.
