The Bruins lost 1-0 to the Minnesota Wild who proved why they are the NHL's best defensive club by shutting out the league's top offensive team. This is the second loss in a row for Boston and the first time they've been shut out all season. Boston has a league leading 143 goals but couldn't get one by Nicklas Backstom tonight who had 28 stops.
Marek Zidlicky scored on a power play in the second period and that was all they needed to get the win.
The Bruins are 0-5 against the Wild. This was the first time Boston has lost two straight games at home in regulation.
